This Floor Contemporary Fusion class will focus on learning a range of foundational movements, all of which will be demonstrated at the start of class. The fusion incorporates elements of breaking and parkour, allowing dancers to explore grounded movement, agility, and flow while building confidence and bodily awareness.
12-1PM
Explore, support, preserve, and celebrate traditional West African Dance from the Mande culture in Mali, accompanied by live Djembe and Djun Djun players. Seydou Couilibaly is the co-founder and co-director of The Yeredon Centre and his daughter, Sita Coulibaly, is a founder + co-director of The Haus of Glitter and is the Director of Legacy Arts & Education for The Yeredon Centre.
Focus on building skill and confidence through drills on the elements of Vogue Performance (catwalk, duckwalk, hands, spins+dips, and floor), then apply those elements to choreography, blending precision with personal flair in an inclusive, all-are-welcome environment for various experience levels. You'll learn a little herstory of Ballroom and the roots of Vogue Performance as a category. ALL ARE WELCOME!

Step into an Afrobeats class with Assi, where high-energy movement meets cultural expression. Through guided instruction and dynamic choreography, participants will explore the roots and rhythms of Afrobeats while celebrating connection, creativity, and collective joy.
